Funguy got the mounting bracket done for the tear sprocket done and we were able to spin the front crank and have the rear sprocket move. I worked on making cushions for the seat backs. Funguy and Robert also did a interview on the Community access channel. |

Sorry it's been a while since I posted any pictures, will try to do soon. I have been working on installing the drive system and its going to look cool soon. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a sponsor and all the good prospects have said no. Unfortunately I am running out of money and am worried about being able to pay for the registration fees. I definitely will not be able to afford to put any art on the machine so it looks like I may have to pull the old funguy sculpture down from the ceiling at the kinetic lab and mount it on the machine and by scabbing off old rusty parts should be able to get all the bike parts I need to finish the machine. We'll have to keep our fingers crossed. Again, please tell your friends about us and suggest they sponsor us. Any amount wil be accepted and appreciated! |

I finished fabricating and attaching all the steering system parts tonight. Joe and I hooked it up and it works great. Joe and Aaron also worked on the tire tread we're attaching to the big rear wheels. Aaron did some cutting and Joe finished screwing the tire tread to left rear tire. Hopefully we'll be doing a second road test this weekend. |

Wow, alot has happened since I last posted! Not sure where to start. First of all you'll find new pics below. The front end has been fabricated , Ackermann arms and tie rod attached (this makes the wheels turn in unison). We had our first road test! We hooked a rope up to the tie rods and Duane gave me a push and I rode around the street. Apparently its a kinetic tradition to take your machine for a "push" as soon as you attach the tie rod. Of course no seats or pedals are attached but it was still fun if not hilarious with my big butt perched atop a two-by-four spanning the frame. Joe even took a turn. Hopefully we'll get the video up soon. Also, we had a visit from THE DISCOVERY NETWORK. They are out of Canada, with a cool sciencey show called "Daily Planet". They filmed all day Sunday and hope to make it back for the race. Thanks Carol and Jay for stopping by and Hanging out! Well I hope everyone enjoys the pics and if you know someone who wants to sponsor a machine, send em my way!! Now I sleep.......

I am now building the front end. Lots of parts to make... Here's the joint that allows the two wheel front end to pivot. And Joe grinding the last few eye bolts for the final front wheel. |

Sorry, its been awhile since I posted and I have lots of pictures for your amusement..... Here's the tire retread material purchased today, 72 feet!!! After work I made the first weld on my front end.
Here's a sneak peak at some of my special bribes, shhhhhhh...
Here were starting to figure out where to put the pilots.
Here I've taken the frame with the rear axle mounts all welded up, and stood it on its ass-end,an standin on a cross bar.
Joe here, tryin to swoop his shades down for the photo, not quick enough Joe! Here's our good buddy and long time kinetickinaut, showing that he bleeds red blood......and a peek at los muerta.
